I may do a bunch of these short posts concerning what Twitter wants you to know but may not tell you. Here is some valuable information I have learned this week from Twitter. This information has been shared over Twitter by various people I follow and I greatly appreciate it.
1:Twitter is now growing at rate of 1,382%. They've had 7 million unique visitors in the month of February. Great time to be a part of this social network.
2:Twitter is a great place to "break the ice" and develop relationships, not to bombard others with your product or opportunity.
3:Be yourself on Twitter. Remember you can't please everyone.
4:If you like something someone tweets, let them know or RT (re-tweet)them.
5:Tweet information with good content that you are interested in. It doesn't have to be amazing.
6:There are talks of twitter chatter being put under surveillance. So beware of the personal information you tweet.
7:Step away from Twitter every now and again.
8:Follow people that interest you. Don't follow people just for high numbers.
9:No harm in using Twitter properly to make money, they definitely make money using you. Its a great relationship that will only benefit everyone in the long run.
10:Twitter whenever you want, just do it with good intent.
This is just a short list of basic information but its very powerful for those who take advantage of it.

Does Using Social Media Networks Increase Your Brain Power?
Social networks such as Twitter, Facebook, Youtube etc have allowed for our perceptions to be expanded and intrigued. It gives us a sense of wonder because it it offers us a new way to explore and learn about our world. Its important to always seek new ways to view and interact with our the world. It allows us to work and expand untapped regions of our brains that we haven't used since childhood. Everything was so fresh and inspiring to us as kids. We found inspiration in almost any situation or setting. As we explore new social media networks and connect with new and wider communities we are reminded of this youthful inspiration and actually increase our brain power.
Think back to Kindergarten, when you were learning how to interact with classmates. Learning how to communicate with classmates, make friends and treat each other properly were the main goals. Of course you were there to learn to read and write etc but the foundation was based on becoming a functioning social individual. This is because being social helps to forge your identity, increases confidence and compassion and allows others to trust you. All of these benefits improves one's mental health and outlook on life.
This also applies directly to your business, dreams and goals. View your business as a Kindergartner in the sense that it uses social media networks, like it was a Kindergarten class, to learn how to better communicate with other businesses, potential customers and business partners. (Your Business/Kindergartner)+(Social media networks/Kindergarten class)= Increased exposure, communication, learning and possibilities for growth and success. This simple equation also applies to your dreams and goals. The point is to make connections, friends, partnerships and relationships where you learn, grow and trust each other. This increases the possibility of your success and overall well being.

You Are What You Eat...and Think
Your physical body is made up of what you consume or eat. “You are what you eat” as the saying goes. In the same way your mind is completely made up of the thoughts you think. “You are what you think”. What I find intriguing is that it is your ego or self identity that decides what thoughts you allow to create your world. Your personal history and family influence have imprinted specific thoughts and thought patterns which you have identified with as yourself. In addition to your life experiences, these imprinted thoughts form a strong presence and help build your self identity. Your ego then chooses what thoughts it takes in and thus creates the world it lives in. Ultimately we are just thoughts and spirit-or ego and awareness. Just as our body is 80% water, our happiness and success in life is 80% mental. We must have a higher understanding of our thoughts and not fall victim to negative thinking.
People have been puppets to their thoughts since the beginning of time. Few people such as leaders, saints, geniuses, gurus, etc have fought and escaped the stronghold of negative thoughts. They lived a life where they chose their thoughts, therefore choosing the life they wanted to create. When a person is able to do this they are able to create the type of surroundings, people and circumstances that they want. Until we are able to control what thoughts gain access to our mental temple we are subjected to negative surroundings, people and circumstances.
Think of it this way- It’s the same thing as if we eat mostly junk food and eventually develop physical ailments and bad health. Junk Food = Junk Health and Junk Thoughts = Junk Life. Obviously it can be time consuming to monitor all your thoughts, but it is of the utmost importance. I imagine there is a way to create an ADT system for your mind. Negative thoughts won’t stand a chance! Only the thoughts we want will be allowed access and in turn our life will reflect surroundings, people and circumstances that we want.
We can only control the thoughts we think we can’t control other people. That's not a smart move. Spend your time on your own mind and then share your thoughts with others. You will be amazed to see who comes into your life and who leaves as you pick your thoughts wisely. You begin to feel good when you focus on good thoughts and you grow accustomed to feeling good. Your environment will then begin to change into good as it wants to give you what you are thinking about. Think sorrow and frustration- your environment will give it to you. Think happiness and love- your environment will give it to you.
Most people, myself included, live lives of both happiness and sorrow, and love and frustration because of the mental war in their mind. One minute they have thoughts of love the next minute its thoughts of frustration. This is why the world is the way it is. If we can take the time to find out what we want out of life we can then call on the thought that will bring them. We then have to shut out the other random thoughts that are running through our mental temple and focus on the thoughts that will bring our desired outcome. The random thoughts that we let run around in our minds are the ones that create confusion and random mistakes and accidents in our lives. If we continue to focus only on the thoughts that we want to bring to life then that is what we will create.

Attraction Marketing and Attracting Your Dream Life
You are a universal being that is free of limitation and fears. You are using this physical reality to express the miracles of the universe. We must spend every moment freeing ourselves of the self projected doubts and limitations that hinder our true expression. We are having a human experience but we are not just human beings. Humans only have a limited lifespan. The spirit has no lifespan- it is infinite. When we innerstand our essence we will succeed in this world beyond our wildest expectations. We must develop fortitude to face all those who will rise up against us as we free ourselves. The people closest to us often are the ones that misunderstand our transformation and try to “help” us see that we must accept the world as it is.
Don't accept the world as it is! Accept it as you want it to be! This reality is based on a intimate relationship with our perception. What we perceive as reality we believe and create. So we must perceive our dreams of success as a reality -not as a far off possibility. Your very perception of your dreams is the instant proof of its existence. It just takes time for it to crack into your physical reality. Just because you are not living your dream life in the physical world does not mean its not a living reality. We must accept our dreams as real right now even if we don't see them at the moment. Never push your dreams to the side.
Your dreams are alive and in communication with you. Your dream life is right next to you as you read this. It speaks to you through your intuition and "gut" feelings. It is leading you or "attracting" you to the doorway so you can open the door and let it into your life! You must be ready to open the door to your dream life. This is similar to how your team or potential clients must be ready to accept you, your leadership or your product. You should make sure you innerstand the art of attracting your dream life. Attraction marketing and attracting your dream life are closely related.

The Young Philanthropist
I hear the following question quite often when I’m talking with friends and associates- "Tarik, what are you up to nowadays?"
